WESTON COMPUTER FAIR

Fair trading
ALL sellers are required to sign a fair trading pledge.  If an item is warranted to be in good working order and it proves to be defective then the buyer  is entitled to recompense.

Items described as "sold as seen" or "not warranted" are obviously not guaranteed and the price should be appropriate.  Buyers have a duty to use the fair's facilities in order to see an item working if that is possible: extensive power points are available.  Remember the law in England:  Caveat emptor!  - Let the buyer beware!

It is a good plan to ask for a receipt, especially for expensive items.

All sellers are required to provide the organisers with their full contact information.  If a dispute arises, buyers will be put in touch with sellers to effect a resolution.   Weston Computer Fair does not vouch for any seller and will not take part in any dispute resolution, but wishes to be informed of the details of  any unresolved dispute. Sellers who flout the rules of fair trading will be banned from future fairs.
